I am Afdha Aly, your podiatrist/chiropodist at Longwood Foot Clinic. I am a member of the College of Podiatry and a HCPC registered podiatrist. I graduated from University of East London in 2012 with a Bachelor of science honours degree in podiatric medicine. Following graduation, I moved to Scotland to live with my husband and started working in a private podiatry practice north east of the border for a few years before relocating to London in 2018.
Why did I choose podiatry?
I was drawn towards a career in healthcare because as I wanted to make a positive impact every single day on people’s lives and I believe this is what makes me a great practitioner. I really enjoy working as a podiatrist especially as I am continually learning new techniques as the profession evolves and enjoy watching my patient’s walk out with a smile on their faces.
What do I do away from the surgery?
When I am not working, I love nothing more than spending time with my family. I have two beautiful daughters, Zaara and Nuha. I also love gardening and growing my own vegetables so always happy to chat with other fond gardeners and gain any tips and tricks!
I am Jane, your podiatrist at Longwood Foot clinic. I qualified from University of East London with a bachelors of science honours degree in Podiatric Medicine. I am a HCPC Registered podiatrist and also a member of the Royal College of Podiatry. I first worked as a Health Care Assistant in the NHS and as a Support Worker in the community, where I noticed how often people neglected their foot health. This inspired me to train as a Foot Health Practitioner, and through my diploma and further CPD, I gained a strong understanding of how important healthy feet are to overall wellbeing.
I loved providing foot care, advice, and support to patients, and seeing the difference it made. Over time, I realised I wanted to take my skills further, which led me to pursue a degree in Podiatry.
My clinical experience and training have helped me build the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to support patients effectively. I enjoy working one-to-one with people, listening to their concerns, and helping them achieve better comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
Hi, I’m Onyeka, one of the podiatrists at Longwood Foot Clinic.
I qualified from the University of East London with a BSc in Podiatric Medicine, and I’m HCPC registered, as well as a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.
I genuinely enjoy being a podiatrist. What I love most is seeing how small changes can make a real difference, relieving pain, improving movement, and helping people get back to doing the things they enjoy. No two patients are the same, and I really value taking the time to understand each person and their concerns.
When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, making time to unwind and recharge. I find this balance helps me bring energy, focus, and care to every patient I see.
For me, good podiatry is about combining clinical knowledge with a personal, caring approach. I want every patient to feel comfortable, listened to, and confident in their care.
I am Afsana, a podiatry graduate from the University of East London (2025). Caring for others has always been second nature to me, having been a young carer and consistently working with vulnerable individuals throughout my life. This background has shaped my compassionate, patient-centred approach and naturally led me to a career in podiatry.
I have a genuine passion for foot health, with Nail Surgery being my favourite area of clinical practice. I also have a growing interest in Rheumatology and hope to pursue higher education in this field to broaden the scope of care I can offer my patients.
Outside of practice, I enjoy DIY projects, supporting family and friends with home improvements, and organising spaces. I am an avid gardener and value spending time outdoors, particularly in natural landscapes, which I find both grounding and inspiring.
I’m Manjit, the Front of House at Longwood Foot Clinic, and I joined the team in 2021. Originally from Birmingham, I moved to London in 1987 after getting married and have built a strong career as a customer service advisor ever since. With over 17 years’ experience as a Customer Advisor, I bring a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and care to my role.
The part of my job I enjoy most is providing excellent care and outstanding customer service to every patient, which I consider the highlight of my role.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, especially my grandsons. I enjoy days out with them whenever I can and value making the most of family time.
My Name is Tara. Originally from Ireland and moved to London 22 years ago after I finished Beauty College. I’m married and a mum of two. We love the outdoors and long walks after my favourite.
